  • "Wisconsin Foreclosure Rate Relatively Low" Channel3000.com (Madison, WI) (04/15/08) RealtyTrac reports that the home foreclosure rate in Wisconsin remains well below other states. Figures show that one in 1,222 Wisconsin homes was in the foreclosure process last month, compared to one in every 538 homes nationwide. That puts the state 27th-highest in the country. Nevada had the highest foreclosure rate at one in 139 homes in March, while Vermont recorded the lowest rate with one in 154,779 homes.
Wausau area activity

Beautiful and sunny this last weekend, many people were out and about.  It is so comforting to know that we can go out for walks or hit numerous parks with our kids and not have to worry about a lot of problems.

We also had our big Spring Open House Weekend here at Coldwell Banker Action.  There were a number of people out looking through homes.  We are finding with the interest rates still good that home owners wanting to sell are still seeing plenty of buyer interest. Of course, if you are a buyer there is a lot to chose from. Most sellers are being realistic with the list prices so you can use that as a fair analysis of the home value.  We are definately starting to feel the spring/summer push.  Many family's are gearing up to make their move in the next couple of months as school is starting to wind down.  We have a very stable market in our area so anybody thinking about listing there home need not be afraid!  In fact with so much on the market currently, now is the perfect time to upgrade to that bigger home or downsize to the smaller one.Big Smile

StarDon't forget that we have an automatic email to notify you of particular homes of interest!  Plug in specifications such as desired price range, bedrooms, or acreage, etc. and you will receive emails with the listing information.
